2 weeks since finishing my C9, and it would seem I have absolutely burned through the next model. Really enjoyed making it, as is always the way, and pleased with the results. Slightly annoyed with the cracked windscreen :/ but still pretty happy with the results.
Have some pictures for you're time. Oh and question at the bottom of what to do next:
So Honda, or Moby Dick?

I'm halfway through this build and would recommend it.

Love the detail of Tamiya kits. Their military kits are more my thing but their auto kits are great. Good work.

Nice work! Turned out beautifully and the paint has a nice gloss finish. Did you polish it when done? Airbrush or rattle can? Good luck with the next one. I'd say stick with the LeMans entries and do the 935.

Ha fair, Oh dont worry they will both find their way to being complete models. Im leaning towards the Honda first I think.

No, it was 2 coats of Fine Surface Finish white primer, two coats of white for the nose, and 1 2 coats of red for the body. I've tried polishing in the past but not really found it to be very successful. What I really want is some laquer that can go over decals, to protect everthing, but I have yet to find anything.

They are fantastic, theres a toy shop where I live at home, and they have a wall, floor to ceiling of them. I go in most times im home, just to oogle what models I want.

So, no clear? How do you manage to hide the edges of the decals, or it is the lighting that is throwing me off. Either way really nice work. That has got a fantastic finish!

No clear coat at any point. I think its clever lighting :) The decals themselves are decent quality, well, they are they Tamiya standard ones, so they seem to hide their edges pretty well.
Thanks :)
